Year 3 Trip to the Ashmolean Museum

On Thursday 29th February, year three went to the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford. We had a great time learning about China. We completed a scavenger hunt for various ancient Chinese objects. We even handled some of the Chinese artefacts! Also, we enjoyed hearing the story of the 4 dragons. 

We also had time to explore the Ashmolean. The Ancient Egyptian exhibit was very interesting and we were able to use our knowledge from last term to investigate the objects we looked at. We especially enjoyed looking at the sarcophogus and mummies.
