Admissions Arrangements


Admissions to Rush Common School are handled by Oxfordshire County Council.

Any objections regarding Admissions can be referred to the Office of the Schools Adjudicator.


Consultation on Admissions to the School for September 2025 onwards.


Rush Common School is part of the Abingdon Learning Trust and the Trust is consulting with parents and staff of Rush Common School, feeder preschools, primary schools and the wider community, including Oxfordshire County Council, on proposed new Admission Arrangements for September 2025 intakes and beyond.


These arrangements conform to the 2021 Admissions Code, published by the government.


This consultation takes place for a 6 week period between 20 November and 15 January 2024 (6 working weeks). Once the consultation closes, the Trust Board will review feedback through the consultation and determine the Admission arrangements for Rush Common School by the end February, for September 2025 intakes.
