Amy Smith

My name is Amy and I am a Staff Governor here at Rush Common School. Currently, I have professional responsibilities as a Year 5 class teacher and Art Curriculum Lead involving the development of the art curriculum across the school. In my role as a staff governor, I want to ensure that the children are at the centre of every decision that is made and that they have every opportunity available to them to further support their academic and social development. I also aim to support my colleagues by bringing the staff viewpoint and perspective (including the wellbeing of staff) to discussions, alongside those views of parents and others to the governing committee.
